By mistake I only entered two of the teaser in, thankfully since all three were losers.  I am still not sure how Univ. of Wis was able too blow that 4th quarter lead but oh well.  Duke got its first victory in its last 25 tries to ruin one of our bets. And some how Univ of Fla was nowhere near covering their huge line vs. Ole Miss, in which they lost on a blocked extra point which Ole Miss technically broke the rules on.I forgot update the website on Saturday to say I was going to use place a four team sweetheart NFL teaser which end ed up winning.(jax +6, car +6, buff+4.5, sd+5) 10:8.5Thus +8.5-5-5+8.5=7 We are up 7 dollars through week 1 and our bank is up to $107.

So far in this experiment we have one bet open pending tonight outcome of UCONN vs Louv.  We used 10 units on that bet so we are down to 90.

This weekend I would like to see if teasers are really a suckers bet or not.  I feel bookies are really good at what they do.  They usually know exactly where the line should be, thus by getting 6 or 7 points more you are using the handy cappers knowledge against him by giving youself a buffer. I have 3 4 team teasers for Saturday games. Lets see how they do.

Virginia +13 1/2, Ohio St -13, Purdue +6 1/2, HAW +3 1/2

Mich St -2 1/2, AUB -1, Wisc -1/2, Fresno St. -1 1/2

Fla -16, Penn St. -9 1/2, S fla -3 1/2, SD St. -4 1/2

I will put five units on each one of these bets which will bring our total down to 75 units.

Here are my thoughts on a couple of big time football game for the upcoming weekend:First up tonight Friday:UCONN vs. Louv:  I think this game is prime for an upset.  Granted the cardinals have played better so far this year then their hugely disappointing season last year, but UCONN is playing well and will be able to take this one on the road.Miami vs. UNC:  This is shaping out to be a deciding game in the ACC championship race; Can Butch Davis continues to build his program and beat his old team.  I don't think so UNC lost their QB and if you look back to last week after he went out the Offense stalled.  The U played well against one of the best team in the country Florida even though the score line didn't should it.  I like Miami to win this one and rise t

Wow what a game put together by the Oregon State Beaver on national television.  Here I the LA area the media would have liked us to believe that the only question about last nights game was if Pete Carroll was going to run up the score to impress voters or not.  Well I guess instead of patting USC on the back they should have been actually analyzing the upcoming football game.  No matter what the sport is in the Pac 10 there are no easy victories on the road (well maybe WSU in football this year).  Those two Rodgers brothers were lightning fast last night and looked even smaller then normal against the freakishly large SC defense.  On the radio this morning I heard Lee Corso mention that it is going to be another tough road challenge for SC when they have to

Throughout the year I will be running an experiment to see if I would be able to make a profit if I were to invest 100 units into sports betting.  My people have formulas, methods and strategies which they use to formulate winners and losers. I will see if you can be successful by just having a vast amount of sports knowledge and common sense.  So here we go!The first action of the season will be:Two team teaser: Oregon State +33 and U CONN +10; for 10 unitsI would receive 6.5 pts with the teaser.I think USC is by far the best team in the country but on the road in the PAC 10 home opener with the extra 6.5 pts I am not so sure they will be able to cover.  As for the UCONN Lov. game I think UCONN should win this game outright but to play it safe I will take the 6.5 pts a

This has been one hell of a year for the Angels.  Most likely the angels will break the all time record for wins in a single season and get 100+ wins.  I have to admit I have not watched as much as I have done the stretch of other season when we were fighting to get into the playoffs.  But as I watched the game last night and saw that the Rays came back to beat the O's we will be facing the Red Sox in the first round of the playoffs yet again.  As every Angel fan wonders in the back of their mind is this team going to have the same fate as the other past editions of the angels with a series flop versus the dreaded Sox.  One can be thankful at least that the Angels have clinched so early in the season that Soscia has been able to rest Vlad and his old man knees for

The position in the NFL that is the most highly over paid and speculative has to be the WR's.  This position is solely dependent on the rest of the team and can rarely achieve greatness with mediocre talent around them."Jacksonville signed free agent wide receiver Jerry Porter, Cleveland Donte Stallworth, Minnesota Bernard Berrian and Oakland Javon Walker. Through three weeks of this season, the receivers that signed a combined $162 million worth of contracts -- $162 million! -- have caught eight passes for 135 yards. That's it." Clearly these teams overpaid and now look like they have invested huge sums of money incorrectly.  Anything can mess up a WR's success.  Changes in QB's, teams or even systems can destroy a players value.  That’s why

Recently all I been hearing about is how bad the PAC 10 is this year and how they are not even one of the top two conferences on the West Coast.  This might be a true statement since the Pac 10 has 1 team in the Polls and Wac and Mountain West have five.  That is a scary thought for a fan of the PAC 10.  But it is not all bad and the conference will rebound .

USC is a factory and will always be good.  I used to think the only way Pete Carroll and the Men from Troy could fall off was NCAA infractions but that couldn't even stop them when stuff was being uncovered against OJ and Reggie.

UCLA will get better with Neihiesel in charge, anyone who thought this boat could be turned around in one offseason from the droll bore that the Dorell staff left was sorely mistaken.
