I have to say I am very impressed by the Texas Tech football team. I really believe there would be a hang over from the prior week and lay an egg vs. Ok State but hey went out and proved they are an elite team. They still have a couple more tough games but I am stating to believe they can run the table and be in the national championship game. Then again I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost vs. Oklahoma in two weeks.
Not too many big games this weekend , but there is a critical game for Cincinnati on Friday when they take on the Lousville Cardinals. The Bearcats control their own destiny in the Big East and should win and cover this one easily, then have a huge game vs. Pitt next week.
Thursday night has a big match up in the ACC when Miami and Va Tech meet at Dolphin Stadium. Both teams are 6-3 and 3-2 in conference; Va Tech controls its own destiny and come in as underdogs. I think Beemer pulls an upset here and goes on to capture the Conference Title.
Pac 10 has a couple of interesting match ups; USC will covers over Stanford, OSU will cover over Cal; and Oregon will do the same vs. Arizona.
