Week 10 College Football Preview
This Weeks Picks: Tex (-3.5), Mizzu (-20), FSU (-1.5), Oregon (+3), Fla (-5 ½)
Season:13-9 (59%)
Yet again the top game of the week involves the number one ranked and undefeated Texas Longhorns. This week they will be facing the high flying Texas Tech offense. This will be no easy task defeating a really good Tech team which is also undefeated in the Big 12 so far. If the Longhorns avoid the upset, they will have gone on to win one of the most grueling stretches of conference play I have ever seen. I think they will be so motivate they will not have a let down and will cover the seven point spread.
The other huge game this weekend with National Title implications will be “The World Largest Cocktail Part” although I heard some where they don’t want to be called that anymore. Anyway Georgia will be hosting Florida this weekend and the looser of this game will have their dreams of National Championship blown away. Both teams seem to be clicking right now after early season stumble. I think the SEC has been vastly over rater this season especially Georgia; I have no idea why they were ranked so high to begin the season. I think the Gators will cover the 5 ½ line even though they will be on the road.
Other teams in the top 10 have it pretty easy this week as Alabama takes on Arkansas State; USC will be facing University of Washington which could be as bad as Arkansas State; Oklahoma State will be facing Iowa State and Utah faces New Mexico. No really challenges there.
ACC
There are two key games in the ACC this weekend; first off the resurgent Florida State Seminoles versus Georgia Tech. It looks like FSU has the program back on the right track and will be able to shut down the Yellow Jackets rushing attack. Second Miami will be facing off against Virginia, with these two team you never know what you are going to get with them on a game to game basis. Miami should be able to win this win.
Big East
Last year co Champions will match up against each other when West Virginia visits U Conn. West Virginia has too much talent to loose to the Huskies.
